What is concessionary travel?
Concessionary travel passes allow eligible senior and disabled users free or reduced rate travel on local bus services in Leicester, Leicestershire and England.
When can I use my concessionary bus pass?
The national scheme allows senior and disabled bus pass holders free travel anywhere in England from 09:30 to 23:00 Monday to Friday, and all day on the weekend and bank holidays.
In addition, Leicester City residents benefit from the following local schemes:
Senior Bus Pass Holders: Half fare travel before 09:30 on the weekdays and free travel after 23:00 if your journey starts in Leicester.
Disabled Bus Pass Holders: Free travel all day for disabled pass holders if your journey starts in Leicester
£1 return fare on the Leicester Park and Ride services
