Leicester Buses Partnership - Year 2 Progress
We are pleased to report that our partnership is well-recognised as a successful partnership in the industry, having delivered 94 out of the 100 commitments in just over 2 years since forming. We have seen a 14% increase in passenger numbers between 2022/23 and 2023/24, to 97.1% of pre-covid levels. More details about our progress can be found here.

Leicester Buses Partnership Delivered 75% of goals in Year 1 - July 2023
In May 2022 Leicester City Council, Arriva, Centrebus, FirstBus, Kinchbus, Roberts Travel and Stagecoach formed the Leicester Buses Enhanced Partnership. Our aim is to make bus travel electric, frequent, reliable, easy and great value. We legally committed to 100 goals over a 3-year period. By August 2023, we have already delivered 75 goals and are on track to deliver the rest by May 2024.

Park & Ride Launch - May 2021
The first fully electric buses in the Leicester fleet were launched in May 2021 on our Park & Ride services. This video showcases the new buses, including the branding, features and depot charging infrastructure at Roberts Travel.
Hospital Hopper Launch - June 2022
The new fully electrc buses on the Hospital Hopper services were launched in June 2022. This video showcases the new buses which were launched in partnership with the University of Hospitals (UHL) of Leicester.
